Sandvik nets service honour

Bob Onucki, senior global account director at Sandvik in Canada, was awarded the 2012 Distinguished Service Medal by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).

The CIM presented Onucki with its second-highest honour in May at an annual awards gala that recognizes leaders integral to the sustainability of the mining industry.

Onucki, who joined Sandvik in 1993, was chosen by a cross-section of CIM members.
