The ‘Most Innovative Product’ in Poland

The award was presented to Sandvik Mining during the 2nd International Silesia Innovatica Congress 2014. The biennial conference drew many attendees representing coal producers, scientific institutions, technological universities and mining equipment manufacturers.

Sandvik MR341, successor to the well-proven Sandvik MR340 roadheader, is designed for the European coal industry. Launched February 2014 in Zeltweg, Austria, Sandvik MR341 includes numerous safety features, such as a radio remote control for all machine functions and a larger working platform for installing roof support.
